Local Telephone Service

Since telephone poles and wires were introduced to the area in 1905, we've been connecting citizens of Batavia for their local telephone service. If your new to the area, changed address or need a line for your business, give us a call; most likely, we can connect you on the same day.

A deposit for local service is required prior to activation. Deposit for Local service is $50.00; Long Distance is $125.00. If you decide to go with Dsl and Cable along with the phone service, a deposit will be required for those as well.

For new residential line, we will need a payment on the account in the amount of $25.15 plus deposit before service can be activated. Telephone services can be same day, as long as Farmer's Telephone Company receives payment before 2:00 p.m.
